Born and raised in Missouri, Larry Marshall is an attorney and graduate of the University of Missouri, where he received both a Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor.
After working as a lawyer for more than a decade, Larry was elected to the Missouri State Senate and served as a State Senator during the 1970s. During his time in office, he sponsored and successfully passed Missouri’s Equal Rights Amendment.
In the 1980s, Larry served as an Assistant Attorney General, representing the State of Missouri in the well-known desegregation cases in both St. Louis and Kansas City. He successfully negotiated an end to the litigation in both cases.
His legal career spans more than 60 years and many areas of law, from representing individuals with small-town legal matters to corporate representation and serving the government on complex legal issues.
Larry is Of Counsel to Scott Marshall Injury Attorneys and works in a consulting and support role within the firm. He no longer handles individual cases or provides direct legal representation. His decades of experience provide the firm with a depth of legal perspective that is difficult to measure.
Larry is the father of firm founder Scott Marshall and the proud grandfather of six grandchildren. He lives in the Tampa Bay area and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. During college football and basketball season, his allegiance remains firmly with his Missouri Tigers.
