We believe in Old-Fashioned Representation: when lawyers actually speak with their clients and get to know them.
Scott Marshall has been representing the people of Florida in claims arising out of Personal Injury, Wrongful Death and Workers’ Compensation for over 20 years. Our firm strives to educate clients, guiding them through the civil justice and workers’ compensation systems. The firm goal is to provide peace of mind to clients, while aggressively protecting their interests and pursuing a recovery on their behalf. There is no more satisfying feeling in our work than the gratitude of clients we have served.
We have developed a niche helping people who have a workers’ compensation claim that is the result of the negligence of a third party; this results in our clients having both a Workers’ Compensation Claim with their Employer AND a personal injury claim against a third party. Our ability to navigate both systems simultaneously helps us maximize the benefit to our clients.
OUR REPUTATION & PHILOSOPHY
The firm is an AV-rated firm by Martindale-Hubbell, one of the oldest and most respected lawyer rating firms in the country. An AV-Rating, or “Pre-eminent” rating, is the highest rating a lawyer or firm can receive for high ethical standards and legal ability. We have successfully represented thousands of clients in cases of personal injury, wrongful death, and workers‘ compensation.
In today’s fast-paced legal world, our firm stays on the cutting edge of law firm technology, while maintaining the type of old-fashioned representation that often gets lost in the world of billboards and big media advertising. When we say that we believe in “Old-Fashioned Representation”, we believe that developing a healthy and open lawyer-client relationship is essential to effective legal representation. This means taking the time to get to know our clients.
FOCUS ON SAFETY
The promotion of Public Safety is one of the primary functions of our tort system, and the jury is the guardian of that system. We strive to promote public safety through our pursuit of civil justice and through our magazine Living Safer, our email newsletter, You Should Know, and through our partnership with the 60 for Safety Campaign.
When a person or business violates a public safety rule and that violation leads to the injury or death of another, our civil justice system is the only means by which we can recover from those harms and losses. At the same time, this pursuit of civil justice helps promote public safety through awareness and accountability. Whether it be securing a recovery through the prosecution of a personal injury or wrongful death matter, or securing benefits for clients under the Florida Workers’ Compensation Law, we strive to promote public safety and protect consumer rights, one client at a time.
